The role of entrepreneurship in economic development cannot be underestimated. Entrepreneurship is particularly important for developing countries, where poverty and unemployment is of great concern. As of present, more than 48% of the Sub-Saharan African population lives in extreme poverty and hardship. Over the years, we have continuously encouraged entrepreneurship and boost economic growth by: introducing innovative technologies, products, and services, increasing competition and challenging existing firms to become more competitive, providing new job opportunities in the short and long term, and raising the productivity of firms and economies.
